The award-winning Marin County Fair is the County’s premier community event with over 120,000 attendees annually. It really does “take a village” to put on such a successful Fair each year!
Description:
Manages Admission gates team and guest support, scans tickets and manages ticket printers. Supervisory experience and ability to manage guest entry experience required.

Guest-focused support scanning tickets. Monitors the admission of fair patrons, guests, staff, exhibitors and contractors for proper ticket or credential, before allowing them to enter. Operates ticket scanning equipment and provides guidance for other employees in its proper use.

Description:
Supports the planning, organization, and coordination of the Marin County Fair Competitive Exhibit Program specifically for Fine Art, Fine Craft, and Photography. Position involves working with fair staff, exhibitors, and judges regarding various administrative functions of the fair exhibits process. Coordinates and manages the Exhibit Monitors and art sales during Fair days.

Lead Installer uses their artistic eye to determine how the Junior Arts & Crafts, Themed Exhibits, Art Chairs and Creative Writing categories will be displayed. The Lead Installer also designs the Premium Prioze table where the Best of Show categories are displayed. The Lead Installer assigns the work of the Installation Crew Members and ensures that the crew members are following direction and working in a timely manner.

Installation Crew members assist with installing the Junior Arts & Crafts, Themed Exhibits, Art Chairs and Creative Writing. This includes installing the competitive exhibits entries in those categories.

Flexible schedule: Sunday – Saturday Early morning and Evenings. Shift hours may range from 4-8 hours a day and are based on operational need.
Must be able to work the Annual Marin County Fair, July 3-7 AND Set up June 19 – July 2 & July 7- 15 for tear down.
