The award-winning Marin County Fair is the County’s premier community event with over 100,000 attendees annually. It really does “take a village” to put on such a successful Fair each year!

Position Summary
The Marin County Fair is seeking an organized, energetic, and detail-oriented Stage Manager to oversee the daily operations of the Community Stage during the 2025 Fair season. This individual will ensure that performances run smoothly, schedules are followed, and all performers and production staff are coordinated effectively. The Stage Manager will be the main point of contact for performers and technical crews, and will maintain a positive, welcoming atmosphere throughout the Fair.

Description:
Manages Admission gates team and guest support, scans tickets and manages ticket printers. Supervisory experience and ability to manage guest entry experience required.
Requirements:
Must be able to walk and stand for six hour shifts.

Bi-lingual Spanish preferred
Description:
Guest-focused support scanning tickets. Monitors the admission of fair patrons, guests, staff, exhibitors and contractors for proper ticket or credential, before allowing them to enter. Operates ticket scanning equipment and provides guidance for other employees in its proper use.
Provides excellent customer service to Fair patrons by answering questions and providing information.
Requirements:
Must be able to walk and stand for six hour shifts.

Guest-focused support for seating patrons for nightly headliner concerts, Directing guests to restrooms, concessions, and other areas of the venue, answering any questions guests might have about the venue or the event, monitoring the crowd for any potential safety concerns and reporting them to appropriate personnel, and assisting in ensuring the venue is clean before and during the events.

Description:
Supports the planning, organization, and coordination of the Marin County Fair Competitive Exhibit Program specifically for Fine Art, Fine Craft, and Photography. Position involves working with fair staff, exhibitors, and judges regarding various administrative functions of the fair exhibits process. Coordinates and manages the Exhibit Monitors and art sales during Fair days.

Description:
Lead Installer uses their artistic eye to determine how the Junior Arts & Crafts, Themed Exhibits, Art Chairs and Creative Writing categories will be displayed. The Lead Installer also designs the Premium Prioze table where the Best of Show categories are displayed. The Lead Installer assigns the work of the Installation Crew Members and ensures that the crew members are following direction and working in a timely manner.

Description:
Installation Crew members assist with installing the Junior Arts & Crafts, Themed Exhibits, Art Chairs and Creative Writing. This includes installing the competitive exhibits entries in those categories.

Must have strong customer service skills, ability to trouble shoot and stay calm under pressure. This is the evening shift from 4pm-11pm.
