Talent Is Everywhere

The heart of the Marin County Fair beats loudest in the Exhibit Hall, where the creativity, craft, and passion of our community come together under one roof. From delicate orchids to hand-stitched quilts and carefully structured bonsai to award-winning layer cakes, there is something here to stop you in your tracks no matter where you wander.

Access to the Exhibit Hall is included with Fair admission. Bring the whole family, take your time, and make sure you leave a few extra minutes for the displays that catch your eye!

Demonstration Stage

Pull up a seat at our Demonstrations Stage, where local artisans and makers share their skills in real time. Watch a piece take shape right before your eyes, ask questions, and pick up a new trick or two to try at home. Check the daily schedule for times and featured demonstrators throughout the Fair.

Marin Bonsai Club

The Marin Bonsai Club has been sharing its art form with Fair visitors for decades, and their display never fails to draw a crowd. Come see a remarkable collection of living sculptures, some of them decades in the making, representing a range of styles, species, and scales. Club members are on hand to answer questions and talk through the patience, technique, and philosophy behind this ancient practice. Whether you are a longtime enthusiast or encountering bonsai for the first time, you will leave with a new appreciation for what a small tree can hold.

Galactic Creations Initiative

Where imagination meets innovation, the Galactic Creations Initiative invites you to look up, look forward, and think bigger. This immersive exhibit explores the creative frontiers of art, science, and design through the work of local makers, artists, and visionaries. Expect the unexpected and come ready to be surprised.

Marin Orchid Society

Step into a world of extraordinary blooms. The Marin Orchid Society brings together an annual showcase of orchids in stunning variety, from classic Phalaenopsis to rare and exotic species you may never have seen before. The display is a visual feast and a wonderful opportunity to learn from passionate growers who are happy to share their knowledge. If you have ever wanted to try growing orchids at home, this is the place to ask your questions!

Marin County Beekeepers

Bees make the world go round, and the Marin Beekeepers Association is here to show you why. Their exhibit offers an up-close look at the incredible world of honeybees, including observation hives and conversations with local beekeepers about sustainable practices and the vital role bees play in our food system and ecosystem. It is a favorite with kids and adults alike.

Competitive Exhibits

Marin residents of all ages enter their finest work each year for judging across dozens of categories. Fine art and photography, hand-sewn garments, knitted goods, textile arts, baked goods, decorated cakes, and themed culinary creations fill the Exhibit Hall with color and imagination. Junior exhibitors bring as much skill and heart to their entries as the seasoned veterans beside them. Stop by, study the ribbons, and get inspired.
